Vaccinations, External & Internal Parasite Control: We require your pet to be fully vaccinated.
All dogs need to be vaccinated against Rabies, DHPPi and Kennel Cough (Bordetella). If the Kennel Cough vaccine has never been given, or if it has expired, a two-day waiting period is required after the administration of vaccine. For all other vaccinations, a 24-hour waiting period is required after the vaccination has been administered.
All cats need to be vaccinated against Rabies and FVRCPP.
Every guest must be under an effective form of flea & tick control treatment. If external parasites are discovered upon check-in, we will get in touch with you to discuss the options of treatment depending on the severity of the case. De-worming must be done every three months. If internal parasites are discovered during a guest’s stay, treatment and additional private room charges may apply.

Veterinary Care: If veterinary attention is required, House of Paws will make every reasonable effort to reach you. However, if you cannot be reached, we will seek appropriate veterinary care on your behalf and you will be responsible for all associated expenses, including transport to the clinic. In the event of serious illness and you cannot be contacted, the veterinary surgeon’s decision will be final. Each time your pet is brought to House of Paws, you are recertifying that the pet is in good health and has not had any contagious disease of any kind.

Temperament Assessment: To ensure the safety of all other guests and employees, all guests must undergo an assessment test before taking part in social activities at House of Paws. This is a two-hour process without the owner in which we assess whether the dog displays any guarding, aggression, or inappropriate behavior in a daycare setting. House of Paws reserves the right to decline participation or to terminate the involvement in activities at House of Paws to any dog at any time for any reason.

Private Accommodations: If your dog is not social with other dogs, or requires one-on-one attention, for the safety of our guests, your dog is required to stay in a private suite and participate in our Day Stay program, which offers private play sessions and walks. Please note that House of Paws has sole discretion on whether dogs may take part in social activities.

Safety: Dogs must always be on a leash and cats must be in a cat’s house box during drop off and pick up. For liability reasons, we cannot allow owners in the daycare area during normal daycare hours. Owners are free to visit their dog at any time during the day, however we will bring the dog into our outside garden or reception area.

Gender and Age: House of Paws accept pets older than 4 months of age, since they cannot be fully vaccinated until this age. Boarding older dogs has been known to cause problems with their overall health by elevated stress levels and disturbances in their routines. We do accept elder dogs on a case by case basis, depending on your animal’s overall health and condition however boarding of elderly dogs (10+ years) is undertaken at the owner’s risk.
House of Paws accept all gender of pets including intact male and female dogs. However female dogs in heat will be isolated from Daycare area due to safety reasons and additional fee of 40AED per day will apply.
Please let House of Paws know if your female dog is in heat or expected to come into heat during her stay with us. In case you didn’t inform House of Paws about your dog`s current or upcoming heat, House of Paws will not bear any responsibility for your dog`s pregnancy or any other injuries related to her heat.
We DO NOT accept non-neutered male cats older than 6 months of age.

Personal Belongings: House of Paws provides bedding, bowls and toys for all guests that stay overnight with us, however we will highly recommend you to bring your pet’s own bed, blanket (or t-shirt with your smell) and toy. Please limit the amount of belongings to 1 piece per items. Since a boarding environment is very different from the pet’s usual home, House of Paws cannot guarantee or be responsible for the condition or damage of your pet`s belongings during boarding therefore please do not bring any expensive, irreplaceable or high valuable items. Additionally, all belongings, collars, harnesses and leashes must be clearly labelled for any guests using our services.

Food: House of Paws can provide food for your pet however our variety of food is limited to few good brands therefore owners are encouraged to bring their own pet food as most pets are sensitive to sudden dietary changes. In case provided food will finish during your pet`s stay we will get in touch with you to seek an advice whether you, your friends or us can order/deliver additional food for your pet (bill for additional food to be settled upon collection). Please note that consumption of food during boarding may vary from normal usage at home (normally increase) since we do not keep food in pets bowls for more than 1.5 hour to make sure the food is always fresh and if your pet didn’t finish his/her meal within this time we will dispose the old food and will refill your pet`s bowl with fresh food. In case your pet have been noticed decrease in appetite and weight lose due to high level of activity or change of environment House of Paws will take all necessary measurements including introduction of additional meals and/or increased portion per meal.

Medication: If your pet requires medication, please make sure it is labelled and that dosage instructions are included. We will follow the instructions given by your veterinarian. The fee for administering medication is 10AED per day for pills, drops etc. and 30AED per day for injectable medications.

Assumption of Risk: Although play and socialization are closely supervised by House of Paws Team, it is still possible in the course of normal pet play that your pet may receive cuts and scratches from rough play. Even the friendliest dogs and even under very close supervision can get into fights with little or no warning signals at all. Play areas are not a sterile environment and from socialization and all its benefits there are also risks associated, possible injuries, including but not limited to exposure to parasites, viruses, and other medical conditions passed from pet-to-pet, sprains, strains, bites, fatigue, dehydration, nicks or cuts. Not every potential risk can be listed above. In case of an emergency you give permission to House of Paws to perform first aid treatment on your pet.
You understand that House of Paws will not be liable financially or otherwise for injuries to your pet or any personal property while your pet is participating in House of Paws activities. You will assume full financial responsibility and all liability for any expenses involved with the behavior of your pet.
